2019 Topps NOW NHL Hockey Sticker Complete Set of 217 Kaapo Kakko and Jack Hughes Rookie (217 Loose stickers)

The 4 Key Rookie (RC) Stickers are Kaapo Kakko, Jack Hughes, Cale Makar and Quinn Hughes. This was the first ever NHL “NOW” type series which chronicled the 2019-20 NHL season as it happened “NOW”. There were 217 stickers made of the 330 planned for in the regular set. You get 217 Loose stickers. So because of Covid-19, a complete “Album” set is made up of 217 stickers with 113 empty spots from stickers that were not produced and therefore do not exist. The 217 DOES include the 7 Chase stickers from weeks: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 21, as well as the All Star Game (ASG) Special package of 3. There were “Gold” stickers produced where one sticker from each of the 23 weeks was made as a “Special” insert. The 23 “Gold” stickers are NOT included in the 217 stickers from the set as there is no actual place set aside for them to be put into the album. There is 1 version of the album made for this series. Each sticker measures 5.3 X 7.3 cm (2.25 X 2.88 inches) which is a touch bigger than the 1980’s size of sticker. Limited availabilty fact: there can only ever be a maximum of 277 complete base sets that exist for the 2019-20 TOPPS NOW sticker year. This is based on the fact that in Week 12, there were 277 “C-4” Chase stickers produced and this was the shortest printed “album sticker” of the “known” print runs. So by purchasing a “set” of 2019-20 NHL TOPPS NOW stickers, you’d have a product that there’d be a maximum of only 276 more in existence.
